Get On Up

I make a lot of pop culture references in my blogs and today's reference is to the Godfather of Soul James Brown and his song "Get On Up." Molly was laying on the hardwood floors in my living room yesterday and she indicated that she wanted a belly rub. She was laying on the far side of the living room and I was sitting in my computer chair. I told her to get up and come to me and she would get her belly rub. She could not get any traction on the floor so what she ended up doing looked like the canine version of the Curly Shuffle. I started singing "Get On Up" to help her out some and cheer her on and all I got was more of the Curly Shuffle. I ended up having to give her a boost.
