Molly's New Friend

When it comes to getting into Molly's inner circle, you really have to take it slow. My former roommate worked his way into her inner circle, but he was an alcoholic and I think she felt sorry for him. My girlfriend and I have been dating about ten months now and she has slowly worked her way into Molly's inner circle. Trust is not something Molly does easily and if you ever get on her bad side, you are there permanently. She thought my last girlfriend was her personal chew toy and I even got bit a couple of times in the process. When my girlfriend comes over, she always makes sure she goes in and greets Molly and Molly immediately jumps up and starts wagging her tail and lays those ears of hers flat on her head and starts rubbing up against her. My girlfriend treats Molly with a great amount of respect and Molly has begun to trust her and she is aware that my girlfriend does not pose me a threat. That doesn't mean that Molly is going to leave us in the same room together but I don't think that was ever going to happen anyway.
