Molly and I were in an automobile accident last night. It was deemed as my fault and I am just thankful it was not worse than it was. Everybody involved was alright and Molly just got bounced around a little bit and she seemed no worse for wear. After the police officer got through filling out all of the paper work, I had Maggie come pick us up so I could take Molly home and then go back and tend to my car.
Molly was amazingly calm through the whole process because we had to wait for about an hour. She sat in the front passenger's seat and she kept an eye on me to make sure I was OK. I would reach in and pet her once in a while and she would lay back down.
I got Molly loaded in Maggie's pickup and Molly has always preferred pickup trucks anyway. It was a king cab so she had room to move and she could look out both windows with the wind in her face.
After we were picked up, someone pulled out in front Maggie and she had to hit the brakes hard and Molly got tossed into the floorboard again. Molly may never get into another moving vehicle after tonight's experience. My first concern after I realized I had been hit was Molly's safety.
