Molly does have certain advantages now that my roommate is gone. She has the run of the house. Whatever room she camps out in is hers. I can now leave the backdoor open. When my roommate was here, he was so afraid and paranoid of bees and everything else getting in the house, we had to keep it closed at all times. I just saw Molly out on the back deck sunning herself and working on her tan. The worst thing that will bother Molly is when he takes his bed. She has gotten used to sneaking in there for naps and getting herself some alone time. When she was a puppy Molly used to love to sun herself on the front deck at my old house. A little bit of Vitamin D can't be bad for a dog, either.
