During the 1928 Presidential race, Republican candidate Herbert Hoover Promised during his campaign that there would be "a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage." That became a huge deal because seven months later the Stock Market crash of 1929 occurred and the American people lost faith in Herbert Hoover and FDR and his New Deal was ushered in in 1932.
Now that Molly and I have the entire house to ourselves, Molly believes that while I am moving furniture around and trying to get it set up the way I want it, I should amend that campaign promise made by Herbert Hoover to "a food bowl in every room." She already has one in the kitchen and in our bedroom and if she walks by and one of them is empty, she slaps it to get my attention and then barks at me. That is her way of telling me to fill it. If I do not stop what I am doing to go fill it up, she turns the bowl over and comes and gets in my face and barks at me. At some point and time, I went from Molly's owner to her personal servant and wait staff.
