Playing With The Squirrels

Molly has always been more of a rabbit dog (think of me as Elmer Fudd) than she has a squirrel dog. We cross paths with squirrels much more where we live now than we do squirrels but Molly is still not that impressed. The squirrels on the property are much more aware of Molly and they take the appropriate evasive actions like sprinting across the yard or scurrying up a tree. I like seeing them jump from tree to tree and I have always been impressed with a squirrels acrobatic abilities. They let me and Molly know when we are encroaching on their turf by barking at us and every once in a while they will rain down wood chips on us from a limb up above. Squirrels have an amazing ability to communicate.
