Our Nightly Ritual

Molly and I have developed a rather unique nightly routine that just goes to show everyone wants to be loved. A few minutes before bedtime, Molly will go hide in the closet in my reading room and I will have to go get her so we can go to bed. I have to beg her to come out because I do not want her to sleep in there by herself. With a few pats of my leg and a steady chorus of "C'mon girl, c'mon Molly, let's go to bed, " she will finally walk out and walk into the bedroom. I have to convince her to hop up on the bed and do a little cheerleading to but we are finally ready to go to sleep. It is a routine that is played out almost every night now but I don't mind.
