Coming Out Of Her Shell
Molly has really had a hard time of it for the past five weeks. She has suffered loss the only way dog can- silently. Her actions have to tell me how she is feeling since she can't do it herself. It has only been me and Molly for the most part. My girlfriend visits as often as she can and those visits really perk Molly up. Molly comes out of her hiding place and wags her tail and greets my girlfriend. She circles around her several times and makes sure she gives her a good "sniff down" and grants her approval. I also make sure that I include my girlfriend on mine and Molly's afternoon walks and she is more comfortable around my girlfriend now. These visits are helping to bring Molly out of her shell.
