This Is The Spot

I have often wondered how a dog picks a spot where it uses the bathroom. I understand the whole peeing thing where they pee over the top of another dog's pee to "one up" the previous dog. Molly will search the entire yard for that perfect spot to drop a load and it drives me insane. We will start at one end of the yard and work our way over pretty much the entire ten acres and end up back where we started and she will pinch a loaf. I think she does it so she can stay outside the entire time even if it is 100 degrees outside. Compared to the alternative of her leaving it in the house, I am along for the walk.
