Go Ahead Cat, Scratch Me!

On one of our daily walks through the neighborhood, Molly and I encountered an orange-and-white tabby cat. He had escaped from one of the apartments in this building in the front corner of the complex. Molly and I had seen him perched in a window many times but we had never run into him face-to-face. I gave this cat several opportunities to run for his life but it wasn't happening. I remember this Sylvester the Cat cartoon where a bulldog had him backed into the corner but there was a panther hiding behind Sylvester. The bulldog says "Go ahead cat. Scratch me!" The panther takes a swipe at him and tears him to shreds. This tabby cat was ready to brawl. He bowed up and he wasn't backing down. Molly and I politely declined the cat's invitation and we have ran into him a couple of times since then all with the same result. That is one cat not to be messed with.
