Fireworks

Molly is not a big fan of fireworks. This being July 4th I have been trying to brace Molly all day long for the impending celebration and the fireworks that will follow but she does not understand the need. She loves cookouts and all of the scraps that inevitably fall on the ground and the smells that come from the grill. I am ready to comfort her in her time of need when the loud noises start occurring. I read on the internet today that more dogs run off and become lost today than any other day of the year and the primary cause is fireworks. It is suggested that you put your dog in an escape proof room in the house and leave on a TV so she has some familiar sounds to comfort her. All excellent ideas.
