I went out the other day and bought myself an electric blanket. I didn't realize they were so expensive but I bought one anyway. With a cold spell hitting early, I thought buying an electric blanket was an investment in my immediate future.
Molly loves electric blankets and this one is no different. I got it put on the bed that night and it took her a few minutes to figure out the significance of the new blanket on the bed, but once she did, I couldn't have gotten her off the bed if I offered her a thousand Munchy Bones.
She staked her claim to one of the bottom corners of the bed and she didn't move for the rest of the night. That is very unusual for her. She is usually up and down all night long and she didn't even want to get out of bed when I took her for her pre-dawn walk. Every time I woke up she was curled up on that corner of the bed.
