Back in Molly's younger days, she used to stay outside in her pen in the backyard. One night, it was bitterly cold and it was supposed to snow so I decided to bring her in the house because I was worried about her safety.
She was not allowed in the bedroom so I decided to sleep on the couch so she wouldn't be by herself. That dog never could get comfortable enough to sleep and she kept me awake all night long. Every time I would dose off, she would take her wet nose and roust me awake. At that time, she was not comfortable staying in the house. That changed over the course of time.
About 7 or 8 that next morning, I had to get some sleep, it was supposed to warm up to the 20's, so I decided to put her back outside for a couple of hours so I could get some sleep. Before I could get back in the house, she was already curled up into a ball and asleep in her dog house. So much for worrying about her.
