I think dogs should be an integral part of NASA and the space program and I would like to recommend Molly to charter the program. Today while I was out with her taking our afternoon walk, she had to stop and whiz on one of "her" bushes. After she is finished she has to do her scratch routine where she throws grass, rocks, and debris all over the place marking that as her bush.
Some of the neighbors dogs saw what was going on and started barking at her. The more they barked, the harder she scratched, and before it was over, Molly had achieved lift off. It was actually impressive that a dog that is still packing her "winter weight" from last winter can get that high off the ground. I would love to see Molly sleep in a weightless environment such as space and I bet her farts would really be impressive in a weightless environment.
