Unseasonably Warm
We are having an unseasonably warm spell in the mountains where Molly and I live and she is undergoing an early shedding phase. She will be balder than a baby's butt by the time winter does get here. When we walk outside now in the near 70 degree heat in the middle of December, I rub Molly's fur coat down with my hand and her fur comes out by the handful. Molly has always been bad to shed but it usually calms down quite a bit during the winter months. Not this year. It is too bad I do not know how to knit Molly's fur into sweaters or I would have some great Christmas presents.
