The Front Porch

The screened in front porch has always been very big in southern culture. In a lot of older neighborhoods, it is a hot spot of social activity. Whenever I go over to my Mom's house, the front porch is always where we end up congregating. We now have a screened in front porch and Molly is really enjoying that, especially late in the evening. It is nice and cool out there and with the front door open, it creates a nice draft through the house. That is one thing that Molly cannot stand is the heat. It really takes a lot out of her and I am hoping this small adjustment will help her out this summer. Now if we can just figure out how to get rid of the snakes, we will be in good shape.
