Ground Hog Day
I was out walking Molly early this morning in a painkiller induced haze (my shoulder has really been bothering me) and we were walking along our road and I happened to look over and I saw a huge ground hog ducking into the culvert that ran beneath the read. At this point and time, I do not believe I was hallucinating but whatever it was did not want to be messed with and Molly and I were in no condition to mess with him. I never really understood the problem that people (namely my uncles) had with ground hogs because they look almost cute and cuddly. Anytime my uncles saw a ground hog, it was time to break out the rifles and go to blasting. It was kind of like watching a live version of a Yosemite Sam cartoon but with a lot more moonshine and cussing.
