Molly The Therapy Dog

After an especially brutal day today, I come home and Molly greets me with open paws as she always does. My manager gives me my daily reaming and one of my best friends stomps all over my feelings. My friend apologized and she expects me to tell her it is o.k. when it is really not but that is a story for another day.

On days like this I cannot wait to get home and see Molly. She is unconditional love at its finest. She knows my moods better than anyone, she knows when I am down and when I am happy, and she knows exactly what to do for every situation.

This afternoon Molly thought a good walk in the warmth of the sunshine would help lower my stress level and she was right. Molly also thought that cleaning up after her with the pooper scooper would be symbolic of the crappy day that I had had and she was right again. She also made sure it really stunk which was symbolic of my friend stomping on my feelings. Molly did not have an answer for the half-ass apology except for a growl and a real sharp "Woof!" I think "Woof" is an answer that is applicable in all situations. Molly wants to go to work with me so she can straighten some people out about how you don't abuse a knowledgeable employee and more importantly, you don't stomp on a loyal friend.
