Sundown
The cold spell her continues and Molly and I live down the other side of a mountain to the west of us. Sundown occurs a little bit earlier for us than it does for some people and once the sun disappears behind Butt Mountain, the temperature automatically drops about ten degrees. I usually try to take Molly out for the last time of the night at about 5:30 before it turns too dark and avoid the creatures of the night that are prowling the woods. I usually try to talk Molly into not wanting to go out in the mornings until after at least 7 or 7:15. Our old bones are not cut out for the cold anymore.
