"N'esveillez pas lou chien qui dort"

This is an old French proverb that means "wake not the sleeping dog" or it might be better known by its English translation "Let sleeping dogs lie." This especially applies to Molly because if you wake her up while she is napping or a deep sleep, she comes up biting and snapping. I have known women that wake up in bad moods before but Molly takes it to a whole new level. The lone exception to this is if I am cooking bacon. The smell of bacon cooking can make Molly appear out of thin air almost like an apparition. At least I always know how to find her.
