Entitlement

I believe that dogs can posess a sense of entitlement that some people do. I saw a dog yesterday that was being carried to her car and the dog seemed to expect that treatment. Molly is more of a blue collar dog. She is always down in the dirt, working hard, and she hates the pampered treatment. She does like her well deserved treats for a job well done but that is about it. She hates being picked up unless she is hurt or something, she is not a lap dog, and she hates the doggy frills.
