The Pet Will
The other day sitting in the breakroom I heard one of the older ladies talking about their will and their children. Since Molly is my "child" I am naturally going to leave everything to her. Rich people can get away with that and they are considered "eccentric." I am a poor slob, own virtually nothing, and would be considered "crazy" for doing that for my dog. Both my older sister and my ex-wife said they would take her in which would be well and good but I emphasized the fact that Molly would have to be able to live in the manner she was accustomed to. That would be sleeping on the bed and whatever other piece of furniture she wanted, getting treats two or three times daily, and taking long walks at her leisure as often as she wanted to. Both my sister and my ex balked at one or all of those particulars so the search will continue. I do have to think about what is best for Molly.
