The Luna Moth

Molly and I encounter several animals, birds, and other assorted wild life in our daily walks and at times we come across things that I have never seen before. Last night we came across what I found out to be a Luna Moth. I had never seen one before and Molly gave it the sniff test and evidently it either passed or didn't pass because Molly elected to leave it alone. I grabbed my camera, posted the pic on Twitter and Facebook and researched it on google. I have some very learned friends who immediately recognized. Molly was rightly impressed with their knowledge.
