Molly To Go
Moving day is drawing near and Molly has noticed. She noticed as soon as I packed that first box. She has been under my foot and in the way for every box I pack. She knows I would never leave her behind but she wants to make sure I do not forget her. I will pack her special blanket last and she will be the last thing I take. She is going to have some new roommates (two cats and two dogs) so it is going to be an adjustment for both of us.

Walking In Circles
Since Molly had her stroke, we seem to walk in circles a lot. This morning Molly decided we needed to walk in a "figure eight" pattern to get where we were going. As long as we are walking, we are both happy and the early mornings are the best. It is getting to be that time of year where it is a little bit cooler in the mornings and this type of weather is great for both of us. It is about another month before the leaves start to turn colors but unfortunately, we will be living somewhere else by then.

Dreams
I was sitting in my computer chair this afternoon getting ready to watch college football and Molly was laying beside me asleep. She started having one of her barking dreams where she will bark in her sleep at something she is chasing in her dreams. She does not have them that often any more as old age has taken over but watching her barking and clawing her feet this afternoon brought a smile to my face. Molly has taught me a lot over the course of our 14 years together and today's lesson was that you are never too old to dream.
